I. E. Shaffer & Co. has its own data center located in West Trenton, NJ utilizing an IBM AS/400 Model 720 with optical retrieval capabilities and a Local Area Network ("LAN"). Every employee has on-line/interactive capabilities with the system via PC/CRT as do several remote client locations. The health claim processing software utilized by I. E. Shaffer & Co. has been licensed from Genelco of St. Louis, Missouri. All other AS/400 based application software was developed and is maintained by I. E. Shaffer & Co. Software for the daily valuation system utilized for participant directed investment plans is licensed from TrustMark of Charlotte, NC. This software includes participant account access through a telephone voice response unit and the Internet.
